Civil Engineer - Municipal Project Manager

In a context of continued growth, we are seeking a Civil Engineer with a strong project management focus to coordinate and supervise our strategic municipal mandates.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Municipal Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and supervise the complete execution of infrastructure projects (roads, sewers, aqueducts, bridges).
  • Multidisciplinary Coordination: Lead design, surveying, environmental, and other stakeholder teams.
  • Budget and Schedule Management: Ensure compliance with budgets, deadlines, and deliverables according to contracts.
  • Client and Stakeholder Relations: Maintain regular communications with municipalities, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Site Supervision: Monitor work, organize site meetings, and resolve on-site issues.

Quality Control: Verify compliance with plans, specifications, and applicable standards. Document Management: Ensure the production and monitoring of project documentation (progress reports, changes, invoicing). Calls for Tenders: Participate in the preparation of bids and the analysis of contractors' offers.

Your Ideal Profile

Required Qualifications

  • Civil Engineering Degree
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
  • Bilingualism: French and English spoken and written (The working language is French)
  • Experience in municipal project management (minimum 3-5 years) including coordination of multidisciplinary teams
  • In-depth knowledge of municipal infrastructure construction processes and Quebec standards
  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent)
  • Excellent knowledge of Office Suite and budget tracking software
