Our client, an architectural firm with major institutional projects (transportation, healthcare, etc.) is looking for a Construction Site Supervisor, (40% travel within the Greater Montreal area).
- Manage all aspects of construction projects of varying sizes and complexity, depending on your level of experience;
- Work closely with a lead architect;
- Review shop drawings;
- Conduct site inspections and prepare reports;
- Prepare all documentation related to construction progress and project delivery;
- Participate in the continuous improvement process of the site supervision department.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Architecture, member of OAQ;
- At least 8 years of experience in construction site supervision and administration, (experience with institutional projects is a plus);
- Asset: Ability to work on fixed-price or fee basis contracts;
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office;
- ASP certificate; asset: training in harnesses and work at heights and confined spaces;
- Training or experience in construction litigation and schedules;
- Access to a vehicle;
- French.
