Job Description

  • Read, interpret, and analyze electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics from assembly books.
  • Fabricate electrical harnesses according to the requirements of drawings, schematics, and work procedures.
  • Route, crimp, install, and secure wires, cables, harnesses, and equipment.
  • Perform metallization tasks and test the continuity and conductivity of final assemblies.
  • Install optical fiber systems as required.
  • Ensure quality control of manufactured sub-assemblies and electrical harnesses.
  • Verify compliance with industry standards and production rates.
  • Carry out any other related tasks based on experience and qualifications.

Additional Information

  • Must be authorized to work in Canada.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Aerospace Cable and Circuit Assembly or evidence of successful completion of an electrical fast-track program.
  • Diploma in Avionics technician OR Electronics.
  • At least 3 years of experience as an electrical assembler within the last 5 years.
  • Experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Demonstrate initiative and work well in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Successfully complete an assessment demonstrating basic technical skills.
  • Comfortable working at heights of up to 30 feet on a regular basis.
  • Ability to adopt and maintain different physical positions according to work requirements.
