What you will do:

The Amusement Technician will conduct preventative maintenance diagnostics to ensure that gaming equipment maintains the highest industry standards. The technician is responsible for the safe installation, testing, inspection, preventative maintenance, and repairs of gaming equipment. They may also maintain or repair other equipment within the building.

Work location:

The Rec Room Royalmount, Mont-Royal

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Follow all values, policies, and procedures effectively.
• Repair gaming equipment and execute preventative maintenance programs.
• Install supports, software, and ensure operational ability of gaming equipment.
• Replace worn components and conduct diagnostics.
• Complete repairs and maintenance in line with safety and manufacturer standards.
• Report conditions impacting customer satisfaction and operations.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed, maintain good housekeeping, and adhere to health and safety requirements.
• Recognize hazards and propose elimination methods.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

• College diploma in Electronics or related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience, especially with gaming equipment repairs.
• Strong diagnostic and preventative skills.
• Knowledge of gaming equipment principles and operation.
• Motivated, organized, reliable, and able to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.

Work conditions:

• Ability to work with tools, lift objects up to 80 lbs, and use PPE.
• Manual dexterity for using computers and peripherals.
