Do you have 8 years of experience of full cycle of Accounting? Do you have experience working with multiple currencies? Are you looking for a position in downtown Montreal? Are you looking to join a very experienced team?

Our client, a well-established company in the construction industry, is currently seeking an Accounting Technician to join their dynamic team!

Le candidat idéal apporte :

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in full-cycle accounting
• Proven experience with SAGE or other systems
• High level of both collaboration and autonomy
• Familiarity with different currencies
• Proficiency in French is mandatory

• English
• Level of Proficiency Required: Advanced
• Reasons for Language Requirement: For regular communication with out-of-province stakeholders
• Frequency of Use: Regularly

Key responsibilities include :

• Calculate, prepare, and issue documents related to accounts (such as invoices, account statements, etc.)
• Enter, review, and verify supplier invoices, prepare payments, and ensure appropriate follow-up
• Review and reconcile various transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, purchase orders, cheques, invoices, cheque requests, and bank statements
• Perform payroll integration between the accounting system and the payroll system
• Calculate overhead and other expenses based on estimates, quotes, and pricing lists
• Input banking transactions and complete bank reconciliations
• Oversee the management of fixed assets
