Responsibilities include :

  • Elaborate, participate in, maintain, and improve an industrial engineering strategy
  • Participate in the development of production activity sequences for assembly stations
  • Balance manpower needs according to organizational requirements
  • Define labor standards, balance, and configure positions and assembly lines to accommodate pace changes, analyze, observe, and measure value-added activities
  • Evaluate and propose key indicators to measure productivity and performance
  • Identify and propose improvement projects, participate in Kaizen workshops, and engage team members in problem-solving
  • Develop comprehensive strategies for industrial engineering
  • Elaborate work charters, diagrams, operation sequences, performance calculations, manpower needs, material flow analysis, work measurement, and pace adjustments

Skills, Knowledge & Experience :

  • Industrial Engineering degree; Master’s preferred
  • Project management skills
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in French and English
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to manage priorities and overcome setbacks
  • Proficiency in industrial engineering techniques and value-added concepts
  • High initiative, autonomy, innovation, and practical sense
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
  • Knowledge of diagnostic tools such as VSM, material flow analysis, capacity analysis, etc.
