Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Technician – Designer to join a dynamic team working on urban infrastructure projects, including roadways, water and sewer systems, and municipal or industrial developments.
Reporting to a project engineer, the technician will be responsible for technical design, 3D modeling, preparation of plans and specifications, and technical follow-up throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare civil engineering design drawings (municipal infrastructure, roads, drainage, underground networks, etc.) using specialized software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, etc.)
- Produce technical drawings in compliance with applicable standards and regulations
- Assist in quantity take-offs and preparation of technical specifications
- Collaborate with engineers, site supervisors, and other team members
- Coordinate plans with other disciplines (e.g., structural, electromechanical)
- Help update technical documents and compliance records
- Occasionally conduct site visits for surveys or field verifications
