Overview

Pomerleau is a national leader in construction. This role is within the Alternative Projects Centre of Expertise (APEX) team, supporting large-scale building and infrastructure projects from concept through construction.

What you will do

• Assist the project team through baseline schedule development and maintenance.
• Collaborate to keep schedules up to date and accurate while prioritizing work assessment analysis.
• Analyze schedule data and variances to identify and troubleshoot key project issues.
• Lead and support the project team with client schedule related meetings.
• Apply project-specific safety standards to promote Pomerleau’s health, safety and environmental standards, applicable OH&S acts, regulations and codes with all employees and trade partners on the project.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on scheduling/planning experience in the construction industry.
• Completed a construction related certificate program, diploma or degree.
• Strong knowledge of construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, quality and cost control.
• Ability to quickly identify schedule-related conflicts and possible causes, produce effective solutions, and collaborate with a large team to reach successful project completion.
• Previous experience working with scheduling software including Primavera P6.
