Sous la supervision du chargé de projet, l’ingénieur structure intermédiaire participe à toutes les étapes des projets de construction. La personne occupant ce poste effectue des analyses structurales, prépare des dessins et des spécifications, rédige des rapports techniques et fournit un soutien sur les chantiers.
Principales responsabilités
Participer à la conception d’éléments structuraux en béton, en acier, en bois et en maçonnerie pour des bâtiments industriels, commerciaux et institutionnels.
Réaliser des calculs et des analyses structurales à l’aide de logiciels spécialisés (EXCEL, ETABS, SAFE ou équivalent) et, idéalement, d’une connaissance de Python.
Préparer et/ou superviser la préparation de dessins, détails et spécifications conformément aux normes et codes en vigueur (CSA, NBC, etc.).
Participer à des relevés, inspections et visites de chantier; rédiger des rapports de visite de chantier et des procès-verbaux.
Collaborer avec les architectes, les ingénieurs d’autres disciplines, les techniciens et les entrepreneurs afin d’assurer la coordination du projet.
Contribuer à l’amélioration continue des méthodes de travail ainsi qu’aux gabarits de calcul et de dessin.
Profil recherché
Diplôme de baccalauréat en génie civil (option structures) ou équivalent.
Membre en règle de l’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
Environ 2 à 10 ans d’expérience pertinente en conception structurelle de bâtiments.
Bonne connaissance des normes et codes de conception structurelle au Québec.
Maîtrise des logiciels d’analyse structurelle (p. ex. ETABS, SAFE) et de Microsoft Office; la connaissance de Revit constitue un atout important.
Rigueur, autonomie, sens des responsabilités et solide esprit d’équipe.
Capacité de travailler dans un environnement bilingue.
Connaissance de logiciels liés à l’IA.

Qualifications
The experience you bring
- Bachelor's degree in automated production engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent training
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- In-depth knowledge of operational safety principles
- Knowledge of applicable standards (CSA Z432, ISO 12100, ISO 13849, RSST)
- Availability to travel between our offices in the greater region Montreal
- Advanced level of English to facilitate effective collaboration with BBA offices and/or clients located in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally (frequency of English use may vary from occasional to daily depending on ongoing projects)
- Advanced level of French to facilitate effective collaboration with BBA offices and/or clients located in Quebec
- Asset: TÜV Nord CMSE, CFSE, or equivalent training
