Responsabilités clés

• Evaluate AI-generated construction engineering content for technical accuracy, practicality, completeness, and alignment with real-world field conditions.
• Challenge advanced language models with job-specific construction engineering scenarios involving constructability, sequencing, cost, schedule, safety, quality, and documentation.
• Review and refine AI-generated prompts, answers, explanations, calculations, and technical recommendations related to construction engineering workflows.
• Identify errors, omissions, unsafe assumptions, unclear reasoning, or unrealistic recommendations in AI model responses.
• Provide structured, actionable feedback that helps improve how AI systems reason through construction problems.
• Shape AI communication standards so model outputs are clear, practical, technically grounded, and appropriate for construction professionals.
• Support evaluation efforts by comparing model responses against expected expert reasoning, accepted construction practices, and applicable codes or standards.

Profil

• 3+ years of professional experience in construction engineering, field engineering, project engineering, construction management, or a closely related role.
• Significant hands-on experience with construction project execution, field coordination, RFIs, submittals, change orders, site documentation, estimates, schedules, and constructability reviews.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Structural Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent senior-level professional experience may also be considered.
• Professional certifications such as PE, CCM, PMP, LEED AP, OSHA 30, or related construction credentials are welcome but not required.
• Previous experience with AI data training, annotation, or evaluating AI-generated technical content is a strong plus.

• Architect and optimize next-generation pilot-in-the-loop CLaws based on handling qualities, performance requirements, and structural envelope protections.
• Validate and verify (V&V) complex control law designs across multiple testing platforms and real-time simulator environments.
• Ensure all CLaws software architectures strictly align with DO-178B and SAE ARP4754 engineering guidelines. - Evaluate complex system failures, state estimations, and flight dynamics stability utilizing desktop simulations and live test data.
• Manage the integration of control systems into specialized test rigs and Tier-1 supplier hardware environments. Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of dedicated experience developing Flight Control Laws for Fly-By-Wire (FBW) aircraft.

• Advanced control systems design experience handling both SISO and MIMO applications.
• Advanced technical programming and modeling skills in MATLAB, Simulink, and C++.

Sous la supervision du chargé de projet, l’ingénieur structure intermédiaire participe à toutes les étapes des projets de construction. La personne occupant ce poste effectue des analyses structurales, prépare des dessins et des spécifications, rédige des rapports techniques et fournit un soutien sur les chantiers.

Principales responsabilités

• Participer à la conception d’éléments structuraux en béton, en acier, en bois et en maçonnerie pour des bâtiments industriels, commerciaux et institutionnels.

• Réaliser des calculs et des analyses structurales à l’aide de logiciels spécialisés (EXCEL, ETABS, SAFE ou équivalent) et, idéalement, d’une connaissance de Python.

• Préparer et/ou superviser la préparation de dessins, détails et spécifications conformément aux normes et codes en vigueur (CSA, NBC, etc.).

• Participer à des relevés, inspections et visites de chantier; rédiger des rapports de visite de chantier et des procès-verbaux.

• Collaborer avec les architectes, les ingénieurs d’autres disciplines, les techniciens et les entrepreneurs afin d’assurer la coordination du projet.

• Contribuer à l’amélioration continue des méthodes de travail ainsi qu’aux gabarits de calcul et de dessin.

Profil recherché

• Diplôme de baccalauréat en génie civil (option structures) ou équivalent.

• Membre en règle de l’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).

• Environ 2 à 10 ans d’expérience pertinente en conception structurelle de bâtiments.

• Bonne connaissance des normes et codes de conception structurelle au Québec.

• Maîtrise des logiciels d’analyse structurelle (p. ex. ETABS, SAFE) et de Microsoft Office; la connaissance de Revit constitue un atout important.
