Responsabilités Principales
- Examiner et approuver les conceptions mécaniques des refroidisseurs SMARDT.
- Gérer des projets d’ingénierie tout au long du cycle de conception.
- Approuver, signer et sceller les dessins de soumission, LLT et dessins de fabrication.
- Soutenir et encadrer les concepteurs tout au long du processus de développement.
- S’assurer que les conceptions respectent les normes applicables, les échéanciers et les exigences de qualité interne.
Exigences Essentielles
- Être membre de l’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) – obligatoire
- Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience pertinente en conception mécanique
- Maîtrise de Inventor, Autodesk Vault et des systèmes ERP
- Solide connaissance des systèmes CVC – obligatoire
- Connaissance des normes de conception et de sécurité (UL1995, ASHRAE 15, UL60335, ASME) – un atout
- Compréhension des contraintes de fabrication et de maintenance
- Connaissance des systèmes de gestion de la qualité
- Compétences en gestion de projets et en encadrement

As a global leader in oil-free centrifugal chillers, we’re seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer Engineer to support and drive the design and development of our advanced chiller systems. Key Responsibilities
- Review and approve mechanical designs for SMARDT chillers.
- Lead engineering projects throughout the full chiller design lifecycle.
- Stamp and sign submittal drawings, LLT, and fabrication drawings.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to Designers during development.
- Ensure that designs comply with applicable standards, timelines, and internal quality protocols.
Essential Requirements
- Must be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant mechanical design experience.
- Proficiency in Inventor, Autodesk Vault, and ERP systems.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems is required.
- Familiarity with design and safety standards such as UL1995, ASHRAE 15, UL60335, and ASME (an asset).
- Understanding of manufacturing and service constraints.
- Experience with quality management systems.
- Solid project management and coaching skills.
